Dru's 2nd Birthday photo shoot at Woodward Park 11-14-09

Dru and her parents were an extremely fun family to photograph. I got to follow Dru's adventures at Woodward Park--she did everything from feeding the geese (which we learned is dangerous--these geese might bite your finger off!), playing on the playground & going down the slides, dancing and playing the ukulele, playing/drinking from the water fountain and digging through mom's purse to find lip gloss--which was her favorite find of the day! I think Dru confused it for a yummy treat though...but this made for adorable photos. This was my first time photographing a toddler--so I discovered that the hardest task was capturing every single cute face and moment...there were many, so thankfully I think I caught a few. Thank you Dru, Kari and Dennis! and Happy Birthday Dru!

Danica's Senior Portraits

These photos were taken at one of my favorite places in Fresno--Woodward Park. I had so much fun taking these photos of Danica--she has a very contagious smile and I remember smiling along with her during the entire shoot. I was excited for her to use her amazing guitar as a prop for some of these photos. Let me tell ya, she's super talented with that thing! I took guitar lessons for a while and it's not that as easy as it looks. I've known Danica for a few years now and I am excited to see where all God will take her. She's got a big heart for serving and is multi-talented. It's been a blessing to watch her mature and become the beautiful person she is.

Spencer senior portraits (and Gracie)

This photo shoot was taken near downtown Fresno in a couple different places. I originally was looking for a painting I had seen on a wall in Fresno to use as a backdrop but failed to find it--so we improvised by driving all over downtown to find these awesome locations. Spencer, his baby sister Gracie, and parents were all part of this fun outing. I think my favorite part of the shoot was when baby sister Gracie got to be part of the action. Even though she wouldn't "pose" for the camera--she allowed me to capture a couple candid moments that I find to be absolutely priceless. She has the most angelic little face--you can't help but fall in love with how adorable she is.
